Before planting, the soil should be prepared as with other fruit trees.
During plowing, and before planting in a permanent place, it is recommended to use organic (20-30 t/ha of manure), phosphorus (200-300 kg P2O5/ha) and potassium fertilizers (150-300 kg K2O/ha).
The best seedlings for planting are two-year-old plants with 3-5 shoots and a well-developed root system.
It is recommended to plant in the north-south direction.
Plants should not be planted deeper than they were in the nursery, especially if they are grafted, in order not to encourage the formation of shoots.
